The mulberry tree of the village square still stands proud witnessing the changing of eras… It was the place where Stratis Myrivilis wrote his masterpieces inspired from the chapel on a rise of rocks, reminiscing about the vivid memories from the opposite Asia Minor lost homelands. Today the myth continues… ouzo-culture, tavernas, idyllic sunsets and last but not least solidarity, which has become a part of the locals’ everyday life.
