Skala Polichnitou has a strong fishing industry, with the famous sardine being fished here, as well as scallops, mussels and other seafood, preferably served fresh at the tavernas to enjoy with panoramic views to the west Kalloni Gulf coast.

Do not miss the Shell Festival & the Trata (the traditional fishing boat) Fest organized in July and August, celebrating the fishing culture of the village.
